With over twenty years of combined education and military experience, Barrett brings a unique and expert perspective to college counseling. He is an IECA-Certified Educational Consultant with a PhD in English Literature from The University of Texas at Austin. Barrett taught composition at both The United States Military Academy at West Point and The United States Air Force Academy. For the last six years, he has taught at an elite East Coast preparatory school.
For years, Barrett has helped high school students with their college essays, admissions strategy, service academy nominations, and ROTC scholarship applications. His work has helped students earn admission to West Point and secure four-year Army ROTC scholarships.
